Our favourite piste in Peyragudes: The Valle Blanche
This red run is way-marked but not groomed, 5 kms of glorious descent through superb scenery. From the very first meters the run takes you behind a ridge and away from the rest of the ski area, into a sublime natural world… and silence. It has a real high mountain feel with the surrounding peaks, it then follows a rushing mountain stream for the last part of the descent.
Our favourite piste in Piau: The Grand Bleu
The longest (7kms) blue run in the Pyrenees, a fabulous panoramic run which allows you to discover the whole ski area, whatever your level of ski.
In Saint-Lary: The 'Bouleaux' chairlift
This chairlift takes you to the top of the Soum de Matta with its 360 degree panorama. Three runs start from the top- a blue, a red and a new black run called 'Violette'. All three runs descend through woodlands with over 600 meters of drop.
