At the foot of the Pic du Midi, Grand Tourmalet offers you the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. Varied landscapes, wide slopes, from beginners’ skiing to alpine skiing with the Pic du Midi, by way of beautiful blue and red slopes through the forest.
1 day of skiing in Gavarnie:
A UNESCO World Heritage Site; a pleasant ski area that offers beginners and veterans some beautiful downhill skiing in superb landscapes.
1 day of skiing in Cauterets:
One of the ski areas with the best snow cover in France where all styles of sliding are practised.
‘Charm and Character’ hotel in Luz:
You will be seduced by this charming small hotel in the Luz Saint Sauveur valley, with its stone façade, slate roof and flower-filled balconies. The welcome is warm, the bedrooms are so comfortable and cosy, perfect after a day on the ski slopes, the cosy lounge with its crackling open fire is just perfect for a siesta. In summer you can enjoy the outdoor pool. The restaurant is renown, the aim of Didier the chef is to prepare a host of delicious dishes using local produce, gourmet meals best shared between friends!

Luz Ardiden, your ski resort
Luz Ardiden is a young and dynamic ski resort. With its three ski areas of Aulian, Bédéret and the Combe de Piet, the resort offers a rich and varied terrain. In the village of Luz Saint Sauveur the ambience is festive, the village authentic.
The Grand Tourmalet, your ski resort
Beneath the towering the Pic du Midi de Bigorre the Grand Tourmalet ski resort has the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees. On the Bareges side the ambience is of a typical Pyrenean village, on the La Mongie side you will find all the services of a 'foot of the slopes' resort in a high mountain setting. The Pic du Midi forma part of the ski area with fabulous freeride descents, Grand Tourmalet is Grand Skiing!
Gavarnie, your ski resort
The Cirque de Gavarnie is known throughout the world. In winter it is famous for its ice waterfalls and for its fabulous ice-climbing routes. The ski area is perfect for families and had exceptional panoramic views.
Cauterets, your ski resort
The village has a remarkable and original architecture with two ski areas. The Cirque de Lys for downhill skiing, its exposition guarantees excellent snow cover. Pont d'Espagne is the 'little Canada' of the Pyrenees, a magnificent site for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, exceptional scenery and sublime panoramas in the very heart of the Pyrenees National Park.
Les Bains du Rocher, your spa centre
At the heart of the National Park Cauterets has a lovely Belle Epoque feel, yet is a modern resort. The spa baths have floors with jade, decorative pebbled walls... The Bains du Rocher Spa offers a wonderful area dedicated to relaxation in an original and sophisticated setting.

Naturally heated thermal waters flow both through the interior and exterior; inside it is a wonderful lagoon delicately lit beneath a majestic dome, outside one can bathe in the warm waters through all seasons of the year. Not to be missed at Luz Ardiden:
The Belle Bleu run is over 5 kms long and traverses two of the 3 ski areas of Luz Ardiden, from Aulian to Bederet. Everybody can appreciate the superb panorama from the ridge and from the two mountain restaurants.
The Grand Tourmalet - the biggest:
The largest ski area in the French Pyrenees offers brilliant varied skiing. The area is on both sides of the famous Col du Tourmalet and beneath the towering Pic du Midi, the scenery is dramatic and ever changing. The new Panoramic run lives up to its name with a breathtaking view over the Pyrenees.
Gavarnie, fine skiing at a World heritage site:
The Cirque de Gavarnie is the most famous natural arena in France. The majestic cirque is a World Heritage site. In winter its waterfalls freeze into dramatic ice formations, whilst its many towering peaks bring an extra dimension. The Cirque can be seen from the village and also from the ski resort. The Pic des Tentes chairlift offers a sensational panoramic view.
The ridge run in Cauterets:
This blue run offers a fabulous panorama, there is a clear view over some of the most famous mountains in the Pyrenees : the Vignemale, the Neouvielle, the Pic du Midi. One can even see out of the mountains to the plains around Tarbes. It is accessed by two chairlifts (5 and 6 places). the edge of this piste are everyone's favourite picnic spot!
