Winter 2022/2023

The Valle Blanche in Peyragudes:

This red run is way-marked but not groomed, 5 kms of glorious descent through superb scenery. From the very first meters the run takes you behind a ridge and away from the rest of the ski area, into a sublime natural world… and silence. It has a real high mountain feel with the surrounding peaks, it then follows a rushing mountain stream for the last part of the descent.

Everything is easy for beginners in Peyragudes:

The conveyor belt lift ' Blanche Neige' is covered. It is completely safe, one can reach the top of the beginners' slopes in the warm and protected from the wind, all the time enjoying the view.

The 'Bouleaux' chairlift in Saint-Lary:

This chairlift takes you to the top of the Soum de Matta with its 360 degree panorama. Three runs start from the top- a blue, a red and a new black run called 'Violette'. All three runs descend through woodlands with over 600 meters of drop.

Blue ski runs at Saint Lary:

No need to be a skiing pro to make the most of the natural terrain at Aulon. Beginners find themselves in a new and pleasant skiing area courtesy of the newly fashioned blue slopes.

The Grand Bleu in Piau:

The longest (7kms) blue run in the Pyrenees, a fabulous panoramic run which allows you to discover the whole ski area, whatever your level of ski.

More in Piau!

Each week there is a ski run open until 7pm.

Val Louron looks after those learning to ski:

The Val Louron beginners' area is one of the most remarkable in the Pyrenees, a new chairlift with a rolling carpet for an easy lift-off has replaced the old drag lift. Together with the conveyor belt type lifts all is done to make things easy and to keep everybody moving. Beginners can learn to ski in a huge area amongst the pine trees, it is very safe and away from runs for confirmed skiers.
