TARBES EN CANTA
6 - 10 June 2018
An international festival of polyphonic singing in Tarbes, Ibos and Semeac.
Based around a creative collective which is always innovative and moving forward, a music of soft and sonorific voices, creating vibrant harmonies. Polyphonic singing is by nature a convivial occasion, with singers from different generations, it is always open to novices whilst equally attracting specialists.
THE MEDIAEVALS OF MONTANER
7 - 8 July 2018
During this weekend you will be taken back to the Middle Ages! Over two days you can take part in a realistic mediaeval re-enactment. From the decorated church to the castle's courtyard, all the village is transformed, immerse yourselves in the age of the Knights Templars.
MUSIC AND WINES IN MADIRAN

This festival blends all the pleasures of classical music with the wines of Madiran. There are tastings of all the wines which come under the Appelations of the region, both Madiran and Pacherenc de Vic Bilh. It is a unique occasion to meet both musicians and wine producers.
JAZZ IN LUZ
11 - 14 July 2018
Since 1991 the sound of contemporary jazz has filled the valleys of the Pays Toy. Four days of concerts, street events and walkabouts in a magical mountain setting. The venues for the concerts are simply exceptional, both bucolic and always surprising. It is an atypique event where artists and the public meet freely, a comtemporary jazz with fanfares, musical strolls, aperitif concerts, all in a convivial atmosphere. A festival waiting to be discovered at the heart of a famous Pyrenean valley, the Pays Toy.
PIANOS AT THE PIC

A festival in the land of Schrader and Ramond de Carboniers. Could musicians of the highest international standing be welcomed to these famous Pyrenean valley? That was the gamble that was realised by the Pianos in the Pyrenees Festival and the Gyorgy Sebok Academy in Bareges.
EQUESTRIA

The 'European Festival of Equine Creation' is a festival dedicated to equine creation and shows, it takes place each year in Tarbes. It is an exceptional human adventure, Equestria has seen the emergence of many incredible talents and the consecration of many superb artists, taking place in a very creative ambience. 'La Nuit des Creations' is the highlight of the festival with 8 shows at 930pm and 3pm under the big top.
THE GAVARNIE FESTIVAL
24 July - 5 August 2018
For the last 30 years the Gavarnie Festival has installed its stage on the Courade Plateau beneath the mighty Cirque de Gavarnie, on the boundary of the National Park. It is the most magnificent of settings. The mission of the festival is to popularise many great works, whose titles are well known but whose contents maybe less so, such as Faust or the Enchanted Flute, its aim is also tell the history of these mountains with original works such as 'Gaston Febus, Prince of the Pyrenees'.
For 2018 the Theatre de Febus company has chosen to present 'Orphée & Eurydice'.
TARBES EN TANGO
18 - 26 August 2018
Over the years Tarbes en Tango has become the European reference of Argentinian culture and tango. During the day an atmosphere of sensuality invades the streets of Tarbes with 'milongas' (balls) and aperotif tangos. Each evening there are concerts and balls with dozens of artists and dancers coming specially from Argentina.
