All the routes offer superb panoramas. They are way-marked with picnic areas, orientation points, and cultural signs.

You will go from discovery to discovery in the verdant Louron valley. Beneath the Col de Peyresourde and on the shores of the Genos-Loudenvielle lake it offers an exceptional location for an unforgettable holiday. Constructed in stone and wood in a pure Pyrenean style, the residence is warm and welcoming, with its ideal location on the shores of the lake and facing the mountains. Open all the year, the Balnea spa welcomes you with warming vapours for a soothing relaxation.

Has apartments for 2 to 8 persons and chalets 10/12 persons. You can enjoy all the facilities: a relaxation area with outdoor heated swimming pool, sauna and a gym.

Families can enjoy outdoor pools where the waters are at 37C, in a sumptous decor of bamboo, temples and statues, which transports you to Latin America, all to the backing of Peruvian pipe music. Swimming against the current, jacuzzis, massage jets, and even a beach of stones to take a snow bath in winter... the pure pleasures of warm waters in a delightful and surprising setting.

So you set off with the family for a gentle walk on a green trail...but soon the kids get into the spirit and ask for a blue! No problem, they are all way-marked, with picnic spots, orientation tables, impossible to get lost and easy to recognize all the peaks!

Chez Rogé, a traditional local bistro at Loudenvielle:

A village institution! It has been open non-stop since 1930 by “Lulu” Roger, then taken over by his daughter, Josette. You might also bump into Claire, the granddaughter and Laura and Flavie, the great – granddaughters. Everyone – holidaymakers and locals alike – meet there for a drink, to play “belote”, a traditional French card game and sing Pyrenean songs.

The Auberge de Cimes, the 'bistrot de pays' in Estarvielle:

Offer yourselves a gourmet lunch at this master of the kitchen. A warm welcome is guaranteed from Veronique, whilst Frederic the chef will delight you with his many delicious dishes, researched on his many voyages, a world tour for your taste buds.

The Table de Saoussas, Loudenvielle:

A friendly restaurant with a family atmosphere serving local produce. Visit the lovely mil, on the other side of the road, in a charming and rustic setting.

Chez Lily, Germ:

A new, unique address – singular and delicious. An arty and cultural bistro in a former sheep shed, Lily’s sheep shed. Tapas is served for the aperitif and the chef suggests dishes prepared with fresh, local market produce.
