In the shade of the Abbey, the chef will greet you with warmth in this comfortable and character hotel. As an alchemist of the kitchen he inspirationally recreates and updates many forgotten recipes, using many local Pyrenean ingredients. His creativity will reveal many dishes from the Touradisse, the Sarrous, the Truse... One comes here both for the pleasures of the dining room and the wonderful atmosphere of the rooms.

Cauterets, your ski resort

The village has a remarkable and original architecture with two ski areas. The Cirque de Lys for downhill skiing, its exposition guarantees excellent snow cover. Pont d'Espagne is the 'little Canada' of the Pyrenees, a magnificent site for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, exceptional scenery and sublime panoramas in the very heart of the Pyrenees National Park.

The Grand Tourmalet, your ski resort

The Grand Tourmalet ski resort has the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees.
On the Bareges side the ambience is of a typical Pyrenean village, on the La Mongie side you will find all the services of a 'foot of the slopes' resort in a high mountain setting. The Pic du Midi with its spectacular freeride descent forms part of the ski area. The Grand Tourmalet guarantees a grand skiing experience.

Luz Ardiden, your ski resort

Luz Ardiden is a young and dynamic ski resort. With its three ski areas of Aulian, Bédéret and the Combe de Piet, the resort offers a rich and varied terrain, not forgetting the off-pistes possibilities at Bernazaou with its 1250 m descent. Our favourite ski run, the ridge run in Cauterets

This blue run offers a fabulous panorama, there is a clear view over some of the most famous mountains in the Pyrenees : the Vignemale, the Neouvielle, the Pic du Midi. One can even see out of the mountains to the plains around Tarbes. It is accessed by two chairlifts (5 and 6 places). the edge of this piste are everyone's favourite picnic spot!

The Grand Tourmalet - the biggest:

The largest ski area in the French Pyrenees offers brilliant varied skiing. The area is on both sides of the famous Col du Tourmalet and beneath the towering Pic du Midi, the scenery is dramatic and ever changing. The new Panoramic run lives up to its name with a breathtaking view over the Pyrenees.

Not to be missed at Luz Ardiden:

The Belle Bleu run is over 5 kms long and traverses two of the 3 ski areas of Luz Ardiden, from Aulian to Bederet. Everybody can appreciate the superb panorama from the ridge and from the two mountain restaurants.
