Your hotel is full of charm and is hidden away in the small village of Gripp in the Grand Tourmalet valley. Situated at the foot of the Pic Du Midi it is a cosy place, its art deco style is both surprising and fun. Vincent will welcome you to this particularly comfortable hotel, in winter the lounge is heated by an open fire, there is always a few notes of music coming from the bar, the convivial dining room.

The Tourmalet valleys are a territory of high intensity, vitality and breathtaking landscapes. Between Bagneres de Bigorre and the small mountain villages begins the route to the Col du Tourmalet, the famous pass crossed by the Tour de France which is dominated by the Pic du Midi. On the other side, Bareges has a traditional pastoral culture and a lot of mountain itineraries. These places have to be discovered.

The Pic du Midi is classed as one of the ‘Grand Sites’ of the Midi-Pyrenes region and has been in existence for over 130 years. The cable-car will take you to 2877 metres of altitude to join the 600 square metres of viewing terraces. Enjoy the immense panorama - from the plains of South Western France all the way to the foothills of the Massif Central, not to mention hundreds of snow-capped peaks. Then visit the star museum of the Observatory to learn about the sun, the moon, the stars and the planets.
