July and August
All inclusive family holiday
An all inclusive family holiday, with no hassle, fun for all!
A walk around the Genos-Loudenvielle lake:
There are lovely walks along the banks, a short circular walk with almost no slope. Do not forget to climb up to the Genos and Loudervielle’s fortified watchtowers to take advantage of the panorama. Legend says that an underground path links the two.
The Louron valley, a great walking resort:
So you set off with the family for a gentle walk on a green trail... but soon the kids get into the spirit and ask for a blue! No problem, they are all way-marked, with picnic spots, orientation tables, impossible to get lost and easy to recognize all the peaks!
Chez Rogé, a traditional local bistro at Loudenvielle:
A village institution! It has been open non-stop since 1930 by “Lulu” Roger, then taken over by his daughter, Josette. You might also bump into Claire, the granddaughter and Laura and Flavie, the great – granddaughters. Everyone – holidaymakers and locals alike – meet there for a drink, to play “belote”, a traditional French card game and sing Pyrenean songs.
The Auberge de Cimes, the 'bistrot de pays' in Estarvielle:
Offer yourselves a gourmet lunch at this master of the kitchen. A warm welcome is guaranteed from Veronique, whilst Frederic the chef will delight you with his many delicious dishes, researched on his many voyages, a world tour for your taste buds.
The Table de Saoussas, Loudenvielle:
A friendly restaurant with a family atmosphere serving local produce. Visit the lovely mil, on the other side of the road, in a charming and rustic setting.
Chez Lily, Germ:
A new, unique address – singular and delicious. An arty and cultural bistro in a former sheep shed, Lily’s sheep shed. Tapas is served for the aperitif and the chef suggests dishes prepared with fresh, local market produce.
