Artistic equestrian show


The show takes place between the 23h and 28th July 2019.
With more than 300 horse and 500 performers Equestria has become renowned internationally. For each of the last 20 years, as well as the chance to meet world famous celebrities, one can enjoy the show 'La Nuit des Creations', with acrobats, tumblers, wagons... It is a unique experience where the horse is the hero and the cavalier his greatest conquest.

Festival Equestria:

Over the 25 years of its existence Equestria has become the international reference for equestrian theatre. It is an exceptional event which has seen the development of many incredible talents and the performances of many celebrated actors. Some of greatest talents have come to Equestria.

It is now an unmissable summer event.
After the horse the Haras National (French cavalry) is the other star of the show. More than 40000 peole attend each summer in the haven of green which is the Haras, the birthplace of the Anglo-Arab race, who of course perform in the shows.

'La Nuit des Creations' sees the horses dance!
A new show where the spectator is the privileged witness of incredible moments of complicity between the horses and the cavaliers.

Hotel in the very centre of Tarbes

In the very centre of Tarbes, this hotel is ideally placed for discovering all the town has to offer. The windows open either onto the Place Verdun or onto a quiet side street, there is an impeccable view over the Pyrenees, a magnificent backdrop, ever changing in colour and light. During the summer months there are many entertainments in the Place Verdun (concerts, open-air shows...). With the arrival of the warm weather it is the locals who love to linger into the evening on the terraces of the many cafes. During the day, the square echos to children's laughter as they play in the fountain, seeking to cool themselves in its shooting waters. The living is easy and the view towards the Pyrenees is magical, this is Tarbes, the capital of Bigorre. Head towards the National Haras (cavalry museum) to discover the close relationship between the town and the horse. The Massey Gardens will surprise, a superb planned garden of over 14 hectares, it is where the locals come to meet and enjoy the shows at the band stands in summer.

A haven of greenery

Situated in the very centre of Tarbes, the Massey gardens which cover 14 hectares were created between 1829 and 1852 by PLacide Massey, he was an eminent naturalist and was born in Tarbes in 1777. The gardens house many rare and varies species, a walk through this garden (which is classified a 'Remarkable Garden') is to set off an a world tour of the most decorative tree species. You must visit the cloisters, the orangery and the new Massey museum.

Napoleon and the Haras

Located in very heart of the Haras National, the Equestria festival benefits from a remarkable natural and historical setting. The Haras was created by Napoleon in 1806 and is nowadays a classified historic monument, set in a French style garden of 9 hectares.
