Meet the animals


You and your children plus the deer, the chickens and all the raptors... this is the weekend break to meet 30 million new friends, whether feathered or furry. At Morgane's farm the deer stroll around the lake whilst the cocks chase the chickens. Later Valerie and Veronik organise an aerial show with their raptors, the chance to become an apprentice falconer of the modern age. A superb animal escapade.

Farm visit

Morgane and Stephane will accompany you to discover their ecological farm and their animals, step back into a another age of farming traditions. Donkeys, horses, Jersey cows, pigs, sheep, deer, chickens roaming freely in the farmyard. On the discovery trail around the enclosures you will have the opportunity to watch and even feed the animals. It is an easy circuit which is suitable for push chairs. The trail starts at the farm gates. Length 2 hours. There is also the possibility for try the treetop adventure circuit with aerial runway.

The falconry show

For 25 years Veronik and Valery have put all their passion, knowledge and energy into rearing raptors and the art of falconry. In their wooded park of over 3 hectares they have created a superb natural habitat for their 30 plus species of raptors. There is a way-marked trail around the park which is themed to discover the birds though five continents. It is in the mediaeval area that the flying shows take place - 'The Apprentice Knights of Febus' and 'The Apprentice Falconers', perfect for an afternoon with the family and to admire these majestic birds.

Chambre d'hotes amongst the vines

Situated on the edge of the Madiran vineyards, this charming chambre d'hotes is perfectly placed to discover the surrounding vineyards. A lovely setting where delicious farm food awaits. There is a superb south facing and heated swimming pool with terrace and sun loungers.

The vineyards of Madiran, Val d'Adour

The reputation of the south west of France is for good living, a warm welcome and a taste for the finer things in life. The Adour valley particularly reflects this. Bordering on the Gers, with numerous vineyards and chateaux, bucolic rolling scenery, and many local festivals, it can be explored on foot, horseback, by bicycle, the many way-marked paths and trails are just perfect for discovering this lovely area.

Nature and disovery amongst the vineyards

There are dozens of delightful paths to enjoy the local scenry. Why not start by the educational path of the Maison de l'Eau. It is at the centre of a protected area on the banks of the Adour in the commune of Ju-Belloc, this natural site does not allow motor vehicles and is a lovely cocktail of calm and nature. Between the forest and the water courses there are numerous hides which are adapted for children, and permit an observation of the wildlife ; otters, tortoise, migratory birds... Identification games, observation and sensory experiences all along the trails which are free and open throughout the year. There is a lovely short circuit for smaller children with perfect spots for a picnic.

A stroll through the Madiran vienyards

Take a stroll through the Madiran vineyards. Waymarked trails will lead you to secret corners, following streams, on the edge of the woods and towards a magnificent panorama over the Pyrenees.
