A real breath of fresh air! Just what you need! Bring the kids along for a great nature adventure. Set off with our guide Bruno, he will teach you how to fire arrows like Robin Hood! Then it's time to meet the animals - ponies, chickens and many others will be happy to see you!

The strengths

Day 1

Visit to the educational farm independently, a treasure hunt enables you to discover all the animals. The children will leave with a little present! There are designated areas to come into contact with the animals and explanatory sign boards at each enclosure. Picnic area and games area. Arrival at your cabin at the end of the afternoon for your night in the chambre d'hotes.

Day 2

Breakfast.
Archery circuit from 2.30 pm, discovery of the terrain in the woods and instruction in this superb sport, nature lovers will just adore it. In a real life setting the adventure will surely get your heart beat racing as you fire the arrows. The sport is all about precision and concentration, but the teaching is based on you having yourselves. Various targets are placed throughout the woods so there are some unexpected surprises waiting for you. Your instructor, Bruno, is also a mountain guide and he will explain the flora and fauna of the Pyrenees.
The walk takes 2h30 and is easy, all the archery equipment is provided. Bring sun hat, small rucksack, water, waterproof, snack.

In the very heart of the Barousse area, this maison d'hotes is perfect for a relaxing weekend break, it has a quiet and peaceful setting. Isabelle has four very comfortable bedrooms , each with views over the Mont Sacon. A real bonus is the spa area with a jacuzzi and hamman.

La Barousse

The Barousse is a verdant area whose dense forests are home to many deer, their strident calls can be heard in autumn, with tiny villages whose inhabitants live off the land and make excellent cheeses. It is also the ideally located to explore nearby St Bertrand de Comminges, the chasm at Saoule, the castles of Mauleon-Barousse and Bramevaque, the Maison des Sources, and the fabulous view from the Port de Bales.
