Charming hotel in Luz Saint Sauveur downtown

Located in the centre of the traditional village of Luz Saint Sauveur, on the way to the Grand Sites of the Cirque de Gavarnie and the Col du Tourmalet, this attractive 19th century hotel invites you to travel back to another era of elegance and style. Its sunny terrace overlooks the Gave river and offers over a superb view over the slate roofs of the village to the Bareges valley with the Pic du Midi on the horizon. The restaurant has large bay windows from where one can equally admire the surrounding mountains. Pigeon lofts, carved balustrades, the ambience and decor of the restaurant... everything is Belle Epoque. The restaurant serves traditional fare - garbure, confit de canard, grilled local lamb. A delight to come back to after a day's skiing or from exploring the mountains in summer.

Has 28 rooms, either doubles, twins or family rooms, many have balconies. There is a shaded garden, a lounge, garage for cycles and motorbikes, a terrace, free wi-fi, lift, private parking. Animals are admitted.

The Grand Tourmalet, your ski resort

The Grand Tourmalet ski resort has the largest ski area in the French Pyrenees.
On the Bareges side the ambience is of a typical Pyrenean village, on the La Mongie side you will find all the services of a 'foot of the slopes' resort in a high mountain setting. The Pic du Midi with its spectacular freeride descent forms part of the ski area. The Grand Tourmalet guarantees a grand skiing experience.

Luz Ardiden, your ski resort

Luz Ardiden is a young and dynamic ski resort. With its three ski areas of Aulian, Bédéret and the Combe de Piet, the resort offers a rich and varied terrain, not forgetting the off-pistes possibilities at Bernazaou with its 1250 m descent. In the village of Luz Saint Sauveur the ambience is festive, the village authentic, the prefct base camp!.

Gavarnie, your ski resort

Gavarnie is one of the wonders of the Hautes-Pyrenees; it is one of our Grands Sites. Gavarnie is classified as World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Change of scene, come skiing in this breathtaking landscape and enjoy the contact with nature.

Cieléo, your spa centre

At the perfect altitude to savour the pure mountain air, Cieleo offers a haven of calm with many specially conceived natural treatments for your relaxation, an infinite range of pleasurable moments... You only have to open your eyes to feel relaxed. A beautiful blend of the blues from the sky and the waters illuminate your wellbeing experience. The journey takes you over three levels with a wide range of pleasurable treatments. Massage with the Baragine, anti-stress with chocolate, mud applications, natural face and body treatments. Just let yourself go and try the many lovely treatments on offer. Beneath the sublime glass dome is the relaxation area - spa water pool, steam baths, massage showers to name a few. Luzea, your spa centre

With its neo-classical architecture and a contemporary range of treatments, Luzea mixes marbles, glass with mosaics incrusted with precious stones. You are invited to follow in the steps of the Empress Eugenie, to enjoy a majestic relaxation, calming and refreshing. The Thermal Area offers gentle treatments in a splendid setting - relaxation pool with underwater massage jets, neck massage jets, swimming against the current, a suspended jacuzzi, a salon with heated benches overlooking the Mensonger gorge, roman baths with back massage, sauna, oriental hamman. The rest area with its neo-clasical architecture dates from the end of the 19th century, the Luz spa baths offer a mix of history and modernity giving the building a very particular feel. It is a simple yet majestic building with its elegant Corinthian columns. The treatment cabins are of marble decorated with mosaics of precious stones, the jacuzzis are suspended over the Mensonger gorge, super sensations guaranteed in an unforgettable setting. Empress Eugenie's bath takes its place amidst modern spa equipments, whilst the Philippe Stark furniture easily finds its place on the Napoleonic marble.
